Submerged in Art - 2014 5th Annual Charity Fine Art Exhibition

Submerged in Art is an annual gathering of the arts in an effort to help raise money and awareness for The Road Home homeless shelter.  This 2-day gathering features 22 of Utah's most prolific artists exhibiting their best and newest works alongside live musical performances by an impressive lineup of Utah musicians.  Salt Lake City Weekly honored the 2012 Submerged in Art event with a “Best of Utah” award and we are committed to continuing an award-worthy event every year. On March 7th-8th submerge yourself in an exhibition of the arts from the finest talent that Utah has to offer, while helping to raise money for charity.

With the support of our dedicated volunteers, the gracious artists and donations from many local businesses, the 2014 Submerged in Art event  will take place at brand new location in the SLC Photo Collective Studio on 200 South 561 West.  The new space will host our immense crowds of enthusiastic Utahans with the common goal of raising awareness and funds for The Road Home homeless shelter, while celebrating the culture of Utah's, often overlooked, but extremely relevant art scene.

Submerged in Art guests can participate in our well-known "opportunity drawings" and impressive "silent auctions" which include creations by our artists and dozens of extraordinary gift baskets, assembled by our team of volunteers, containing products and gift cards donated by the businesses in our community.  Guests are also able to meet with our artists and purchase their artwork directly from them.  100% of the proceeds raised through door donations, opportunity drawings and silent auctions, along with a percentage of all the artists artwork sales, is presented directly to The Road Home.
